I’m going to be honest, I was one of THOSE people (before having kids) that said “how hard can parenting be”,
‘’I’m gonna be the COOL mom And let my kids do everything they want’’
or I was that person that said…
“Cooome Ooon... give your kid THE DAMN CANDY or iPad so they can shut up”.
Does that sound familiar to any of you listeners?
Wooow!
I was wrong in every aspect of what parenting is about. You won’t believe the internal dialogue that happens in my head NOW
I’m constantly asking myself: Is it okay to let them watch TV for another hour? Are they eating too many sweets? Or am I a bad mom for picking up my kids late from daycare?
And the list goes on and on.
